Podcasting Workshop with Clare starts tomorrow
Hi All,
Just a reminder that we start working on the first podcast tomorrow with the wonderful Clare Young. Don't forget to have a bit of a listen to the podcasts that we shared and think about the plan for tomorrows class (below)...
Thursday 12h Feb, WORKSHOP 1: IDEAS GENERATION & PLANNING
1. Share favourite podcasts, what resonates with you, and what you liked about their approach?
2. Share your own interests and passions – which area of podcasting are you interested in (story development, recording, interviewing, narration, editing, music creation, audio effects, sound mixing?)
3. Share ideas for potential podcasts? Discussion of THEME, RELEVANCE, AUDIENCE.
4. Choose groups & “podcast” ideas for each group (will need Annie & Catherine’s help for helping with this!)
5. Have the opportunity to do a simple recording in each team and load it up on the computer.
6. Talk through next steps and recording plans. Students write their own schedule for recording material over next two weeks and uploading onto computers.
