The Glasshouse
A Glasshouse is a place where seeds are nurtured and growth is encouraged
On July 1st 2023, BYPAA (now BACA) was given the opportunity to manage The Old Library for the Braidwood Community, prioritising use for children and youth. We warmed the new space with an awesome workshop with Canberra's Warehouse Circus, thanks to funding provided by Luke Watson, Rural Support Officer with Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council. We also renamed the space The Glasshouse.

BACA has claimed weekday afternoons and evenings. We will also offer school holiday activities at various times.
Community Groups who are not charging a fee can contact BACA to book the space.
Commercial bookings will be made through QPRC.
BYPAA held a youth forum to brainstorm ideas for how this space can evolve, and The Youth did not hold back. They were brimming with ideas, and we are now determined to bring every one of them to fruition.
